Peter Augustovič was born August 2, 1959, in Trnava, Slovakia. Between 1975 -79 he studied at Secondary School of Applied Arts in Bratislava, department of graphic. In 1985 he graduated from Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, department of graphic and book design at professor Albín Brunovský (1979-85). Since 1993 has worked as a lecturer at Academy of Fine Arts and Design, department of graphic. His favourite artwork is painting and printmaking.
